Sun smiled warmly, and lightly butted Magic with her snout. "You're still a pup to me. How are you and your mate, sweetie? Any more pups on the way?" She lightly winked at her grandson. Romeo wasn't the only threat the taken kids need worry about. Sun could drop subtle hints when she wanted as well.

"We're fine." Magic replied, smiling pleasantly. The wolf chuckled and shook his head in response to her second question. "No. But it looks like you'll be a great-great-grandmother soon." Magic smiled. Sometimes he loved immortality. At this point he should probably look around his father's age, while Romeo should look even older. But instead his father looked about three or four years old, while Magic only looked like a yearling. Young forever! "And Juliet found another male to toy with."

She quirked a brow, surprised. "Oh really? She thinking seriously about this one?" She doubted it. From what she'd watched of Julliet, the girl liked her independance. She wasn't the type, it seemed, to settle down so quickly.

"Knowing her? Probably not." Magic said, shaking his head. His sister enjoyed being unattached. Free as a bird, you might say. They neared the camp, and he picked up his pace a bit. "Juliet's always the same. Maybe one day she'll find someone that can wow her enough be her one and only mate. But I doubt it." Magic smirked. His sister was one of the most notorious she-wolves in the entire forest, he believed. Somehow she'd made every brute in Greenwood that wasn't formerly attached go wild over her.
"I hope she does. I'd like some more grandpups." Mystic said, smiling.

Sun laughed. "Maybe you can grab Juliet and she can have some." she tilted her head at her daughter. "All she'd need to do is stay here during the pregnancy and until the pups are weaned. She can stay away from her mate that long, can't she?" She smiled, hoping her grand-daughter wasn't getting too attached. No Blackshadow could stay with one female for too long.

"Hm...I think she could accomplish it." Magic said confidently. He thought about a bunch of little Juliet's running around. Their pack was expanding vastly. It was a blessing that Hemitite had led them to such a fertile land. This territory would sustain them for many years. "Think we could convince her?" He grinned teasingly at his mother.
Mystic giggled. "Maybe. If we were in dire need of pups. But that's hardly the case."

Sun laughed. "Indeed." She nuzzled her grandson before glancing back behind her. Although she was tring to concentrate on her pups and their pups, her thoughts continued to stray towards Donovan. And not in a bad way, either. She frowned and turned back to Magic, abruptly serious. "Magic, do you mind if I speak to your mother alone for a few moments?" Long ago, the mother had always been a source of advice for Mystic. Now, with things changing so rapidly, Sun was the one that needed advice.

Magic nodded. "Of course." He smiled, nuzzled both females, and dove almost instinctivly into the shadows. As a result, he vanished completely. To those who looked carefully, however, his faint outline could be seen dashing through the darkness.
Mystic stopped and sat down, looking at her mother. "What is it? Is something wrong?" Concern shone in her eyes. She hoped nothing was amiss.

She watched Magic leave before turning slowly to Mystic. "...has Hemitite come by very often?" She asked slowly, tilting her head faintly. Yes, delay talking about what was actually bothering her. Delay breaking the news that Mystic's own mother might have possitive feelings towards the very male that had banished their entire family. No. It was bertter to make Myst think she loved the Blackshadow Captain than anything else.

Mystic blinked. "Hemitite? Yes, he comes around every now and then. Starblood and Dandre adore him." She'd grown a bit more trusting of her birth father. Around her two youngest sons he was almost playful. Magic still distrusted him, and Juliet tolerated him. Occasionally her daughter was even friendly towards him. The two were very much alike, sometimes in ways Mystic had never even noticed. All the same, Hemitite was welcome in their territory. If it weren't for him they wouldn't have ever found it in the first place. Mystic smiled impishly. "Why? Are you hoping he'll come around while you're here?"

She shook her head, a sad smile crossing her lips. "I know he's a good wolf sometimes. But there are some things you can never forgive." But her smile turned warm as she nuzzled her daughter. "But because of him, I have you. So I suppose I owe him a work of thanks." She glanced around, curious. "Where did you see him last?"

"It's been a few days." Mystic replied. Sometimes Hemitite would hang around for as many as five days. Others he only stayed for a few hours. Mystic nuzzled against her mother. Hemitite had helped, or tried to, save her children. She owed him that. And they probably would have starved if he had not shown them this bountiful territory. "He usually isn't away for very long. He seems to like visiting us." She looked up through the thick canopy and up at the moon. It was just a sliver tonight. Soon it would be black, engulfing the entire forest in shadow. Surprisingly, the pack was beginning to relish the darkness they had in their new territory.

She shrugged, casual. "Alright. I'll just come back a little later." She glanced behind her, thoughts straying once again. "Tell him I'm looking for him, okay? I should head back." Already. But she couldn't concentrate like this. She gave her daughter one more nuzzle before turning and heading back.
Only a few paces away from the camp, his oddly comforting smell filled her nose and Sun paused. Ugh. She hated how much Donovan was starting to grow on her. Just as she moved to take another step forward, sharp fangs locked into her scruff, and she didn't hide the sharp yelp of pain. Too far away from the Blackwood lands for them to hear, but for sure close enough for the Greenwood wolves to hear.

Mystic whimpered a bit, but nuzzled her mother and began the trek back towards the dens.
Donovan was laying down near the border, not only waiting on Sunstorm but trying to get some peace. The thin moonlight was oddly comforting to him. He raised his ears hearing the yelp, which seemed to come from his mate. Suddenly fear pulsed through him and he jumped to his paws. "Sunstorm?"

The only reply was a deep, booming laugh, and a flash of blood-red eyes as the faint outline of Bleaknight holding the golden she-wolf in his jaws. He gave the male Alpha a wicked wink, and turned to race off into the woods.
