He let her believe that for now, simpyl grinning and giving her a nod. "Of course. Just don't stray too far from the den, Sweetheart." He gave her a lick before starting off. "I'll be back soon."

Mystic smiled. "I won't, Papa! And be careful!" She watched her father depart, then decided to go romp in the colorful leaves. It was extremely fun to her. They leaves made a strange crunching noise that she'd never heard them make, plus they were still so pretty!
Though she didn't know she was straying a bit too far from the dens.

(Totally reminds me of Lion King 2. xD)
Elsewhere, not far from her, was another young pup who was, likewise, straying a bit too far from his own restrictions. The red-brown wolf, of a few moons older than Mystic, his ice blue eyes striking against his fur, looked around, trying to find his way back to where he came from. This land was too unfamiliar... Should never have gone against Jasper's orders...

((I was just thinking that! XD And when Starfrost catches them, he should start singing We Are One! Yes. Yes I am insane.))
Mystic continued her game, laughing and bounding through the leaf-covered forest floor. She playfully snapped at a chipmunk as it clambered up a tree to escape her and laughed. Then, she suddenly noticed she wasn't alone. Far up ahead, through the trees, she could see a strange pup.
That, and she had no clue as to where she was in the packlands.

She wasn't alone in that thought. The slightly older pup caught her scent suddenly and snarled, soft fur poofing out in all directions as a show of intimidation. After all, Jasper always taught him to be on his guard.

Mystic gasped and stumbled back, suddenly afraid of this larger pup. Then, she remembered that this was her home. (If she was still in the packlands, that was.) Should she be the one snarling at him? Mystic showed her small, sharp white teeth and snarled. Like the other pup, her fur poofed out in an attempt to make her look bigger.
"What're you doing on my Papa's land?" she growled, trying to make her voice cold like Jag's. This was probably the only time she wanted to be like him.

The other blinked, ears flipping forward curiously. "Yours?" He tilted his head some before shrugging, sitting down and licking his shoulder. Perfectly calm. Hmm... "Damn, and I thought I was still on my lands." He gave a shrug, sighing.

Mystic gasped. "You said a naughty word!" In an instant, she was back to being the same friendly and naive pup she usually was. She walked towards him, crawling over a fallen log as she did so. "This is my papa's land. Your on Greenwood terf."
Mystic sat a few feet away from him. She sat up tall, like a perfect little lady. "You smell really weird."

The other cocked his eyebrow at her first exclamation, obviously not getting it. To him, the word was far from dirty. To her other words, he simply grinned, sheepishly. "I bet I do. Over in my lands, we usually smell like blood. It might be weird smelling it for the first time." His pretty eyes seemed to reflect an arrogant spark, and his grin widened.

Mystic furrowed her brow in confusion. "Blood?" She came closer, sniffing him curiously. She didn't know about his weird scent, but she didn't like that arrogant look in his eyes. This was her home, not his. She let out a soft growl, then walked back to where she had been.
"What pack do you belong to anyways?" she asked, all signs of hostility suddenly wiped away.

The other pup flicked his ears when she came closer, but brushed it off, simply replying. "The BlackShadows. If you're a GreenWood..." He grinned again, flicking his tail now. "Then damn... my pack hates yours."

Mystic's ears flickered, surprised by this. She did not know her pack's relations with others. But she found it strange that they hated them. "Hate us? Why? We're not bad." Then she remembered her father's warning. Upon remembering, she took a step back. "Papa says not to mix with others. He said it isn't wise."

The other pup laughed, cruelly almost. "It's probably because of us! Our Alpha Bleaknight says you guys are too goody-goody. He doesn't want us mixing with you guys either."

Mystic snorted. 'Since when is being kind a bad thing?" She ignored the cruel-sounding laugh. "Everyone here is happy. Well, Jaggy isn't. But Papa said he's never happy."
"And we aren't goody-goody." she said, glaring at him slightly.

He grinned, eyes amused. "We're happy too. But it's because we're happy that your alpha hates us." He paused a moment, grinning and sneering his next words. "Or, excuse me, your Papa!"
