"Keep listening for that call." Donovan grunted as he rose to his paws. He looked up at the sky and let out a sigh. "Perhaps if I decide to call you two back, and you do your job well...you and your family might be able to come back. Might." With that he padded off. His pack would notice his absence. One of the Alphas had to be there, at least.

With that offer, both twins raced back and slid onto either side of the black and silver male, nuzzling up against him. "Hello, gorgeous." Both purred wickedly in unison, batting their eyelashes up at him. DoDo sure knew how to bring in the ladies.

Donovan blinked at the two of them. Well, hello there! Amazing how a few words could set off she-wolves to do the most bizarre things. Another wolf might have taken advantage of this. But not Donovan. Well, not yet at least. "Ok, ok. Enough. I haven't accepted your offer yet, you two."

Both pulled a twin pout that would generally make any grown wolf give in. But they soon gave in and nodded. "We'll await your call eagerly." Sundew chirped, tail wagging as she slid away from him. Lily took a bit longer, watching the black and silver male with a lingering gaze befre trotting off after her sister. "don't make us wait long."

Donovan watched them go. He met Lily's gaze and cracked a smile for the first time. A low chuckle came from within his throat. These two amused him. Sort of. Ish. Ok, barely. But he liked them a little bit. That's the point. "It won't be very long, I promise."

She snorted. "I'll count the days." She purred, moving to slide her tail under his chin as she raced off with her sister back to Blackwood land. Now, they figured they should probably tell Mystic of the possibility. To think they could go back! Finally, to have free roam of these beautiful lands as full-grown adults. They raced back to camp at high speeds, gasping for breath by the time they were there. "Mom! Mom, where are you?"

Mystic was sitting in front of her den, head on her paws. It was another lazy day in Blackwood. The dear that the young adults had killed was still there, and it would last them another few days at least. So there was no need to hunt just yet. The she-wolf raised her head as her two daughters bounded in, and she smiled.
"Where's the fire you two?" Mystic chuckled.

The two came right up to her, grinning, tails wagging. "We're going back, Mom! Back to Greenwood!" Lily crouched, tail wagging feircely, eyes dancing. "We convinced Donovan to take us back. This is so great!" She piped, running in circles, absolutely excited.

Mystic stared at them, astounded. For a moment their mother seemed to be dead to the world. Finally the she-wolf shook her head, curing herself of her stupor. Mystic sat up so that she wasn't laying down anymore. "Wait...why were you talking to Donovan at all?" She gave her daughters a hard stare. Uh-oh.
Magic came out from his den and stretched. "What's all the yelling about?"
"These two say they've convinced Donovan to take us back into the pack." Mystic said.
Magic sat back down, his eyes wide. Well.

Lily paused, frowning at the two. "Why aren't you happy about this? It's a chance to go home. I thought you'd want that too." She whimpered softly, conveniently skipping over the first question. That was best left unknown.

Mystic shook her head slowly. "Hold on Lily...Sun? Erm...it's just a lot for us to take in. We'd all accepted the fact that we'd never be allowed back." She looked at her son, who was staring at the his sisters. Then he grinned, tail wagging.
"I think we should, Mother! You know we all miss it!" Magic said.

"Um, but..." Sundew frowned, ears back. "We uh... need to make sure he's good with it. And... we kinda promised something else in return. So... we need to do that before we can... push this too much." She spoke very carefully, making sure not to include any details. They didn't need to know.

Mystic frowned and rose to her paws now, moving towards her daughters. What had they agreed to? "What did you promise him in return?" Mystic looked at both of her daughters. She was starting to be able to tell them apart. A little bit. Just a little. "And don't you to lie to me, either!"

Lily frowned, ducking her head. "...it wasn't that bad. We just agreed to help his relationship with Sunstorm. That's it." It wasn't a lie. That had been their original intentions. But Sun slowly frowned and added on. "So we're acting as his mates in Greenwood. But just acting. It's nothing serious."

Magic simply stared at them, quirking his head to one side.
Mystic let out a low growl and shook her head. She still didn't like the idea of that...that brute with her mother. But, whether she liked it or not, they were together. Sadly. Some part of her would rather have Sunstorm go with Hemitite, so long as she was away from Donovan. "What were you two thinking?!"
