"oh, no, he's ours." Lily laughed, moving to push her sister away. She loved to play with her siblings. Although she would love to be as close to her two extra brothers, there was a connection that had formed between the four. It would take some time before Starblood and Dandre were fully accepted into that.

Dove laughed. "Not if I steal him!" She crouched down playfully, her tail wagging. She, too, wanted a relationship with her other two brothers. But they, too, had a link that they did not share. It would take time for those two seperate bonds to join together.

"You wouldn't steal the Alpha of Greenwood from us." Sun grinned as she peeked over her brother to see her sister. Lily froze, shooting a silencing glare over at her sister. But it was a little late.

Dove blinked. She had the reputation of the 'good girl' that always did as she was told. It astounded her that her sisters would go after someone that was so...off limits. "You better not tell Mom or Dad. They'd be soooo mad!" She wasn't about to rat her sisters out. But she didn't approve.

Noticing her disaproval, both twins frowned. But they weren't about to quit. Although it really wasn't up to them. "We don't even know if it's gonna work. We told him to call if he was interested, and trust me, he didn't seem to be." She shrugged. It was about time they got rejected, she figured. "So don't worry about it." She glanced back at the border. Now that she thought about it, it was incredibly unlikely they'd get a howl from the Alpha. Of any males they'd run into, he seemed the most uninterested.

At that moment, a howl ripped through the air.
"...you two are gonna get in sooo much trouble." Dove said, blinking at her sisters. Shadow just started laughing. What was that old saying? Speak of the devil and he shall appear to you? Yeah, that fit nicely here.

The twins winced at the howl, grimacing. Dang. "We don't know that's him." Lily quickly offered, taking a few steps back. Just in case it actually was him. Sun quickly turned to Shadow, grinning. "Shadow, hurt me. Just like, a scratch across the shoulders. Do it quick." She ordered, tail wagging. Lily grinned at her sister and raced off to the border, circling around so she would come, technically, from the Blackshadow border. She stepped closer to the Greenwood lands, looking around. Maybe her hunch was right. That could've just been a rogue howling...

Shadow whimpered, but he obliged. He clawed her quickly and lightly along her shoulders. It didn't draw too much blood, but it might do the trick. Shadow began to lick his paws. "Good luck, you two." Dove just shook her head.
There was a silver and black male laying calmly in the sun, watching two robins flit around above him. It was Donovan alright.

Sundew smiled warmly at her brother and licked his cheek. "Thank you." With that, she raced off the same way as her sister, and came up beside her at the border. The two shot one last glance at each other before pacing forward, Sun now limping forward pathetically, head bent and body submissive. Lily gave her shoulders a lick before sitting in front of Donovan. "You called?" She asked that wicked grin sliding across her muzzle once more. He could've just called them here to tell them never to come around again.

Donovan looked over at them and flicked his tail. He looked at her and let out a sigh. He still seemed rather disinterested in them both. "Yes, I called you." This was going to be a challenge, alright.

Definetely. "What for?" Lily questioned, padding forward to sit closer to him. Sundew limped along beside her, leaning against her sister to watch Donovan. "I thought you didn't like us."

"I want to know how you're really related to my mate." Donovan said, looking them over skeptically. They couldn't be her pups, he knew that much. He wasn't aware of Sunstorm ever having any older or younger sisters. So how in the world could they look so much like her?

Lily took a deep breath, thoughtful, before frowning up at him. "Fine, fine. We're Mystic's pups, from her lost litter. Sol took us to Blackshadow and raised us there. We knew you wouldn't let us come anywhere near the border if you knew, and we wanted to know what our real home was like." She sighed again, nudging her sister back to the border. there goes that.

Donovan let out a low growl. But he couldn't bring himself to chase them away. Even he'd been sad when Mystic's pups had been killed. No pup, half-breed or not, deserved to die like that. He set his head on his paws. "I'm still considering your offer." Might as well throw that out there.

"Sure you are." Lily sighed, shaking her head with geniune depression. She'd really been hoping for a chance to go back. Now that he knew who they really were, there was no going back. Their visit had been cut short. Might as well go reassure Dove that they wouldn't be sneaking off anymore.
Even as he sister headed off, Sundew paused, glancing back at Donovan. She waited, giving him a bit more of a chance than Lilyfrost was. Depending on what he said, she could reel her sister back in.
