His emerald eyes widened for a second as Spitfire came rocketing above him and through the tree's. He gave a grin and gave chase, although that wolf was one fast character! His tongue lolled out of his mouth again as his pace picked up, now running just a short space behind her. "Heh, it's not as much fun without you, Fraulein!" he purred, his eyes flashing. He took this chance to gaze around, that was what the run was for, no?
Besides the blur of tree's that melted past him, he still couldn't see much else but green. Green, green and more green. Gazing upward, the sky was mainly blocked out by the swarm of leaves but prehaps it was close to late afternoon? "Hey, Fraulein, do you know where we are exactly? All's I can see is trees." he barked, she knew where she was going, right? Ja, she was born here after all, it's only natural that she'd know this place back to front. Come to think of it, where was Spitfire? He realised that he lost sight of her awhile ago. Prehaps she was playing?

((Your computer fixed yet? :3)
After realizing she could barely hear his voice, Spitfire paused, hesitating now. She glanced behind her, ears perked. After a moment, she found that she really, really didn't like not being able to see him. She whimpered very softly, pulling her ears to her skull and letting out a howl to him, tail waving anxiously. She knew she shouldn't be so paranoid, but... well, it would be easy for him to walk past a border... some of the places owned by Blackshadows weren't scented, so they could ambush a wolf unfamiliar with the land.
As she waited for a reply, she sat amongst the soft moss at the base of a particularly large tree, resting her chin on one upturned root. To her, every tree was different, none the same, and finding her way through the forest was daily fun. Being born here meant you had to know which trees were which and where to go and where to turn. Without this knowledge, you could stray and be killed. Or worse. Which only made her more worried waiting for Ark to show, or let himself be heard. She was just being paranoid... right?

(( No. I'm using David's laptop while he's in work, how about you? Any joy? )) Ark crinkled his nose, a sickly stench infested the area here, the smell reminded him of death. He had definately lost Spitfire's trail now, he had started to pad along a path and hoped that he'd run into her. No such luck so far. His ears flicked as a rustle was heard behind him. A snarl tore through his throat, his head spinning around to face the noise, "Who's there?" He growled, his eyes narrowing into slits and his body crouched low on the ground, ready to pounce. His only answer was the sound of the whistling wind that swirled around him. He didn't like this, he didn't like it at all. It wasn't so much the thought of danger, it was the fact that he felt a pair of eyes on him. Eyes that he was unable to detect that could be watching his every move, it made him feel like a freak on display. And he hated it. Suddenly, a howl split through the silence. 'Spitfire!' his mind cried, atleast she was safe. He smiled to himself, she knew these lands back to front, there was no way that she'd get lost. His thoughts shattered as that rustle sounded again. This time was to his left, the opposite side of spitfire's howl. 'Verdammen Sie, if I go to Spitfire, this thing might follow too. She's much more important than I am, it's best she stay there.' his mind flashed, back to the point where they first met. Him, the depressed moody pup, and her, the cheery angel with her Irish accent. Irish and German... what a pair they made. Raising his head high, he barked out a warning howl for her to stay away. His clear voice echoed through the tree's, the birds all took flight at the sudden noise. Lowering his head, he turned his body to face the noise, although it had probably moved by now. It was a cunning beast, he'd give it that. Each time he sniffed the air, the creature was always downwind of him, evading being caught. Placing one leg infront on the other, he bared his teeth at the bushes, his black tail hanging limply behind him. "If you wanna fight then come out, Tier. Ark hisses, his brown tanned ears tilting back to rest on his blonde hair, his viridian orbs narrowing again. 'Traurig mein Fraulein. Stay where you are.' he mumbled, atleast she'd be kept safe. (( Sorry, I need to keep in mind that he's German so I'll just stuff a few more German words in there every now and then. XD Traurig - Sorry Mein - My Fraulein - Miss/Lady Tier - Beast Verdammen Sie - Damn ))

(Our family comp is working on my end now. BUT to even the odds... my cell phone's screen just went all dead and I now have to use my sister's. xD And I LUV ARK. <3333 He's so amazing, I just luve him. He and his sexy German accent. xDD) At the howl from him, Spitfire glanced up, already on her paws. She stood there for about three seconds, thinking... before rushing right into the woods towards him. Like hell she was gonna stay put! He was in danger, and she would rather suffer at Bleaknight's fangs than let anything happen to him. Why? ...well, he was her charge. Starfrost might... demote her or something if he found she couldn't be responsible. That was the reason... right? The incredible tug on her heart that made her paws pound the ground, made her race faster than she ever had before, it wasn't some kind of emotional attachment at all. Her distracted thoughts and her too-fast speed meant her paws lost their footing easily and she slammed into a fallen tree chest-first, having not jumped in time. Gasping for breath, dizzy and disorientated, she growled as she hopped clumsily over the obsticle now, trying to pinpoint Ark again. She caught his scent, and relief flooded through her. She limped forward, ignoring the other stench that hit her, as vital as it might be to both their survival. "Ark!" She called, snarling now as she limped to him. As in pain as she was from the hit, she was going to help, and she raised her head and tail in dominance and a willingness to fight as she tried to focus on where the unseen enemy might come from.

Spitfire? What the heck was she doing here? He had to hand it to her, the girl was as stubborn as he and that thought made him smile. However, they both had a more 'intense' situation to deal with right now. His ears picked up the sound of her ripping through the bushes to get to his location. When Spitfire limped into sight, Ark felt his heart strings give a tug. Limping? Why was she limping? Rushing to her side, he noticed she still stood proud; her posture echoing dominance and authority. "Mein Fraulein! What happend? You're alright, ja?" he exclaimed, brushing his nose against her shoulder in an act of comfort. Wait..! Why was he so bothered anyway? Supporting his friend? Of course... that was all it was. Right..?
He shook it off, his blonde bangs obstructing his vision again. His body positioned horizontally beside Spitfire's but facing the opposite direction, if this creature attacked from behind Spitfire, he'd run straight into Ark first. "Couldn't stay away, Fraulein?" He teased.

(( Mein apologies, typing on the PS3 limits the character amount I can type horribly! Which is why that paragraph I typed up on my bro's laptop's bigger than the rest. But I'm really glad you like Ark, he's very quickly becoming a favourite to me, too. XD Which reminds me, I'll have to do a post on Dante sometime. Prehaps in Bleaknight's place. D: Do you have anymore characters that have foreign accents? Besides Hemitite & Spitfire? XD Foreign guys are awesome! I was gonna give Dante an accent but he was made before Ark so... =) They've got different Dad's too so it makes sense. ))

((You can type on your PS3?! *dies of envy* xD And yes, Ark is just amazing. I think the little connection he's got with Spit is a neat little plot, too. And hmm... My Jasper, Hemitite's brother, is also French. xD And you know Bleaknight is actually ancient Welsh? xDD But he doesn't have an accent or anything. :C I'm trying to think if I have many more accented wolfies, since I luve them too. Phantom and Mirage use a lot of Latin... Austin's family, the Trueloves, are all Southern. xD And they're in TMA (since I had no room to squeeze them in CoG. xD). I'll think of some, since I know I have them. :3)) Spitfire snorted at him, shaking her head. "Don't be so confident. We're getting out of here. We're way too close to Blackshadow lands. Come on." She growled, upset for more than one reason. Worry for him which she couldn't explain, the pain in her chest, both physical, and emotional, and the frustration of having to save this cocky idiot. Added to the fact that as she took a step back back into her own lands, she realized the blow she'd taken had started bleeding. She snarled faintly in frustration, feeling more and more dizzy, the strong, disgusting smell hitting her hard. It was bleeding heavily, and as she stepped back, her paws were stained with it. Great. Turning around so she could walk faster from the area instead of just backing out, she dropped her guard completely. She didn't really care - she was so irritated right now, she might just take the head off any wolf that tried attacking her. She just wanted out, and back to some kind of safe spot in the shade where she could lick the nasty scent off her. Frustration was making her reckless, but right at this moment, she didn't really care, and just half-hoped Ark would follow her.

(( My computers fixed! -Throws Confetti- ))
Ark crinkled his nose and squeezed his eyes shut, the stench of bubbling blood hit him hard on the wind. He could almost taste the copper smell emitting from Spitfire, who stormed off behind him in the direction she came. With a swift shake of his head, Ark followed behind her slowly. His form still kept low on the ground in case of any attacks from the surrounding bushes. He had to admit, it was quite amusing to see the young Fraulein in such a sour mood. He still kept his distance behind her, best not to step on her toes until she calms down.
His tongue darted out to lick his lips, the rustling sound had gone silent for now. Gott knows what the noise was in the first place... his ears remained erect and his tail hung limply behind him, the tip brushing against the grass blades and dried leaves. Glancing back to his companion, he noticed her chest wound was leaving a trail of crimson liquid behind. Easy work for a tracker. "Ok, Fraulein? We should get back ASAP, ja? Wouldn't want anything following us." He trailed off, stating the obvious but not really noticing. His viridian eyes focused on the tree's and shrubbery around them.

( YAY!![/i][/size] ) Spitfire paused, once out of the stinking area. She just kind of stood there a moment, staring at the ground. She was having a hard time thinking, and felt really woozy all of a sudden. She dropped down slowly to her bum, then, even slower, moved to lay down, resting her head back against the bark of a tree. Her chest hurt, but it was duller now, drowned out by a headache and just an abrupt exhaustion. She chose to merely lay back for now, a soft smile on her lips, not paying much attention to what Ark was saying. She felt sticky around her elbows and forelegs, but ignored it, not noticing the blood drizzling steadily from the ragged wound. "They won't follow us this far." She purred absently back to him, perfectly relaxed, tail flicking lightly. (I sure love abusing my characters for some odd reason. xDD)

{I've returned! x2! x) }
Releasing a yawn, Ark padded his way over to Spitfire, ears still standing erect in the air. His nose crinkled up as the strong stench of blood hit him. Why hadn't he noticed she was hurt before? It didn't take a genius to figure out the scent of blood would lead whoever or whatever straight to them. Solution? Get rid of the blood.
"They won't follow us this far."
Ark rolled his viridian eyes. Shesh it wouldn't hurt to be more... aware, "Ja, well better safe than sorry, Fraulein." He muttered before laying down next to her, bowing his head next to her forepaws. Sliding his eyes shut, his dusty pink tongue darted out to lap up the steady trickle of crimson liquid that sprung out from her strands of fur. "Sorry if this makes you uncomfortable but I just want to make sure no one follows. I don't fancy a death dance anytime soon." He again muttered before continuing with the intimate act, the coppery taste staining his mouth and chin where the blood slid from his tongue.
Hauling his weight up off the ground he stepped over her small form with his lanky legs to clean off the other fore paw. Finishing with that one, and cleaning the blood off his chin, his eyes darted around for berries or fruit or anything that would take away the smell from his mouth. It was there whenever he breathed in or sighed, it made him nauseous which forced him to sit down and close his eyes. "You better appreciate that, Fraulein Spitfire. Blood is not my thing." His tone was that of annoyance but a small smile played on his lips that he thought she wouldn't take notice of.
{EDIT: Die grammar! D:< }

(Wow, I'm re-reading this... my writing SUCKS. xDDD Maybe I've gotten better?)
Spitfire watched him clean her wounds and the stained blood with a mixture of calm aloof and a faint trickle of amusement. When he was done, she grinned lightly up at him, tail flicking along the ground as it wagged. "You didn't have to. You could've just run off and left m here for some creeper to find." She purred, voice thick with untold laughter as she rolled onto her back, watching him with those dancing eyes. "To be perfectly honest, I don't know why you haven't yet. You've had plenty of opportunities. And you've got the brains to cover it up so you don't take the heat for it." She observed, leaning down to lick over where his tongue had recently graced across her chest.
(Oh, and one last thing... I MISSED YOU. <3333333)

{ Missed you too!! <3 } "You didn't have to. You could've just run off and left m here for some creeper to find." Ark snorted, his eyes still remained closed, "What do you take me for? I'm not about to run off and leave someone here while they're injured." he murmered, disapproval evident in his voice, as though scolding a small pup. His left ear twitched as a fly landed on the tip, his tail swished about, the charcoal tip threading through the grass blades. "To be perfectly honest, I don't know why you haven't yet. You've had plenty of opportunities. And you've got the brains to cover it up so you don't take the heat for it." A slight smile grew on his lips at that. Covering up? Pah! "Hah, I'm not as smart as you think." he yawned as if it were the most casual sentence in the wood. "Covering things up is a lot harder than you'd imagine. There's always... complications..." he drifted off as he mused things in his mind under the roof of his blonde locks. His ears perked up again, the slow constant vibration of the insects filling the air. His tongue thrashed around in his mouth, wiping the insides of his teeth and the rusty copper of the blood.

"Complications?" She echoed, an amused grin sliding across her delicate amber maw. She slid slowly to her paws, stumbling a bit at first, but soon getting the feel of the ground again. She gave herself a moment to pause after rising to force down the meat that had started to come back up, a result of her vertigo, before smiling up at him. "You would know?" She asked playfully, forcing her paws to carry her forward, flicking a tail of long, soft fur in his face, to annoy him like she knew it would. Amusement gained at the annoyance of others was a simple survival trick which she'd adopted if one remains content with everything, no one can hurt you.
However, boredom was still an effective weapon. Easily growing tired of just lying there, she wanted to go out and do something. Her hatred of staying in one place for more than a moment got her into a lot of trouble, but with all luck, Ark wouldn't mind it as much as some others did.

{I feel like I'm about to have a spaz attack D: I'm SO sorry! But my A Level exam season is over so I have a lot of free time and I'll be on here a shiz load more! } His emerald eyes narrowed at her tail flick, annoyance obviously present on his face. The swelling desire built up inside him to take a bite out of her tail. But he managed to suppress it by rolling his eyes instead. He then smirked; deciding to play her little game, he lowered his head down to hers, "Sure. I know all the tricks and traps of body hiding..." he purred, his black lips close to her ear, "I could even teach you a few things... alone... together...". His glowing eyes gazed into hers, a smirk still present on his lips. Suddenly tugging his head away from hers, his normal voice blew in, "Hmmp, not that you could pull it off anyway." he teased, his tongue flapping out of his mouth; mocking her. His ears twitched before he let out a yawn, his full set of teeth gleaming in the light. The sun did always make him tired, especially after todays events. He lightly shook his head and licked his black lips with his tongue. Yes, body hiding... so useful but so tricky. Always something you've left out. Every time. But he didn't really know about that... did he?

(*hug* Sorry it took so long for me to reply. xD I can't force myself to write, or it'll come out like crap. xD By the way, I can never tell if Ark is being naughty or just a creper. xDDDD It's been so long, I hope I'm not inconsistant with this. xD)
I couldn't fight my grin. This boy certainly was a funny one. I could never tell what his real intentions were, and it kept him amusing. It was definetely harder to get bored when in his company, always trying to guess at what he was thinking. And he was no eyesore, either. I definetely found him pretty damn attractive. I don't chase those I can't have, though. I have some brains, at least.
I watch him, and when I felt a breeze against my back, I was startled to realize my tail was wagging. I padded after him, feeling a bit like a useless, thoughtless duckling following a hungry cat. I couldn't seem to help myself. "Probably not." I admitted easily. "I'm not one for hiding bodies." I shrugged, a probably-stupid-looking grin across my muzzle. I was back to being all crazy happy randomly. It probably annoyed him to high Hell.
